The announcement of this new partnership took place during an event attended by key figures, including Todd Hricko, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Business Development at Hard Rock International, Datuk Wira Jayandren Subramanian, Group Chief Executive Officer of King’s Park, Lim Kim Chai, Chairman of HR Resort & Residences, and Sean Chen, Executive Vice President of King’s Park.
Unveiling the Hard Rock Genting Highlands
The partnership between HR Hotel & Residences Sdn Bhd and Hard Rock International will lead to the creation of Hard Rock Genting Highlands, a world-class entertainment experience set amidst the lush tropical jungle of Genting Highlands.
This iconic hotel will boast 1001 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, making it an unparalleled destination in the region. Located at an elevation of 1,000 meters above sea level, it promises 365 days of cool weather.
At the announcement event, Sean expressed the vision of combining high-end design with the energy of rock ‘n’ roll, offering an unforgettable adventure for solo travelers, groups, and families. The hotel is set to open its doors in 2027, promising to captivate visitors and showcase the enduring spirit of Rock.
With the expected creation of numerous jobs in fields like room division, engineering, and food and beverage, the partnership is poised to drive economic growth and enhance the quality of life in the region.
Todd emphasised the brand’s love for music and its commitment to offering an exceptional guest experience. The Hard Rock Genting Highlands Hotel will feature 371 opulent rooms, 630 suites, a retail space known as the “Rock Shop,” a heated swimming pool, diverse dining options, a Rock Spa, and nightly Rock ‘n’ Roll entertainment.
